1. About the Game

2048 is a puzzle game that allows you to play locally. Additional features, such as Google sign-in and the global leaderboard, require an internet connection and may depend on third-party services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally permitted to use the app under the laws that apply to you. If you are a minor, you must use the app with any required permission or supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

Some features require signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through it. You must provide accurate information where requested and must not misuse another person's account.

3. Gameplay and Scores

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Scores and game records may be stored locally on your device or submitted to our backend when you use online features.

Global leaderboard results may be validated by the service. Displayed results may be delayed, corrected, removed, or unavailable due to technical issues, validation, maintenance, or suspected abuse.

4. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Manipulate scores or interfere with leaderboard validation.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities to gain an unfair advantage.
• Use bots, scripts, or unauthorized tools to abuse online features.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or data.
• Disrupt the operation, availability, or security of the service.
• Use the app in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

We may investigate suspected abuse and take reasonable action, including removing invalid scores, restricting online features, or suspending access where appropriate.

5. Global Leaderboard and Online Features

Online features depend on internet connectivity and the availability of our infrastructure and third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of leaderboard results, or uninterrupted preservation of game records.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue online features when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, technical, or operational reasons.

6. Advertisements

The app may display advertisements provided by third-party services, including Google AdMob. Advertisements help support the availability and development of the game.

We do not control every advertisement or the products and services promoted by advertisers. Any interaction with an advertisement, including visiting an advertiser's website or purchasing a product, is at your discretion and may be governed by the advertiser's own terms and privacy practices.

7. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services for features such as Google sign-in, authentication, backend infrastructure, and advertising. Their availability and operation may be outside our control. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The app and its associated branding, design, software, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, except for materials owned by third parties. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the app except where permitted by applicable law or with the necessary authorization.

9. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, bug fixes, and changes to the app. Some versions or features may require updates to continue working. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device or operating system.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account using the account deletion feature in the app or by following the instructions on our Account Deletion page.

Deleting your account removes the associated account profile, scores, and game records stored for the service, subject to applicable retention requirements and technical limitations. Account deletion may prevent you from accessing online features associated with that account.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, including losses resulting from service interruptions or unavailable game records.

These terms do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app, its features, or applicable requirements. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after the updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

14. Governing Law

These terms are subject to applicable laws. Any mandatory consumer protections or legal rights that apply in your country of residence remain unaffected.
